   HO Drag Racers, Track Owners, Sanctioning Bodies and HO Suppliers.  There is more HO Drag Racing going on than what is easily found on the internet.  We want to help you find it.  We are NOT trying to convert anyone to any specific rules or track length or voltage or classes run or anything else. We ARE trying to add to the number of HO drag racing enthusiasts. We will list contact information where you can find the fun we are having.   Let's find out how many active tracks there are, roughly where they are, how often each one runs races and how the races are run. T-jet or magnet, 12 volt, 18 volt or 28 volt, neo magnet, wheelie bars, 10 mph or 115 mph, all are welcome here.  What we are NOT is a place for anybody to "flame" or complain about a group or person. That’s why we are a website and not a forum. Anytime you want what you list on this registry taken off, changed or added to, just email us and we will do it as soon as possible.  We will keep this a "family friendly" website.

HO Drag Strip Owners-
    List your track and inform others as to the way your races are run. List items like: track name; track voltage; class and controller rules; track surface and wiring; track location; how to be contacted and other information that racers would want to know. Track owners may chose one of three ways to list their track. Choose "Public Track" Listing and welcome anybody to the track by listing everything that someone needs to know to race or visit. Pick the "Semi-Private Track" listing and provide a way for racers to communicate with you first to see if you want to extend an invitation to the guest. The third listing is "Private Track" and is a way for the track owner to inform the registry and all who visit it, that you have a track and share only what they want people to know about your enjoyment of this great hobby. Some Private Tracks will extend an invitation depending on the communication between the track owner and the person wanting to race.  You don’t have to give a specific address when you list with hodragraceregistry.com. If your track is in the Chicago area, just say that or Northern Illinois if you don't want to give out a more specific address. If you do want fellow HO Drag Racers to find you, list your email address so they can. If you are a commercial slot car emporium and want racers to easily find you, list your address, phone number and even hours of operation if you like.
       
HO Drag Strip Sanctioning Bodies-
    List your HO Drag Race Sanction, your websites, basic rules and regulations, major races, email addresses and information that would help communication. This is the portion of the website where people can find out about the differences and similarities of each sanctioning body.
         
HO Drag Race Suppliers- 
    A great place to find suppliers for ho drag race cars and parts.  Racers need everything from tracks and timing equipment to cars and parts. If you are selling to HO drag racers we hope you will list your business and products with hodragraceregistry.com.  If you want to promote your business of "almost" any kind list it here. Your help will be what assists us to improve awareness of HO Drag Racing and assists in getting many more tracks up and running.
     
Summary- 
    Like most of you, I love drag racing. I found HO drag racing in 2003 surfing the net and have only had a track together since 2006 (Not counting the road course one I had as a kid in 1961...and yes I wish I still had all the vib cars from back then!).  I wish I had known about and gotten involved with HO drags sooner.  That's what this website is about.  Helping others find out about HO Drag Racing and the fun we are having. 
     During the short time I've know about HO Drag Racing, I had the opportunity to either race or watch races with great people in St. Louis, Ocala and Hudson, Florida and Colorado Springs, Colorado. We've had people visit our track from California, Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Georgia and Pennsylvania along with a lot of new found friends from the central Florida area. During these races I have made new friends and met many quality people.  If you ever get the opportunity to go to a race out of your area, we believe you will have a great time. Also, every time we've invited someone new to our track, it has been a fun, learning experience and a pleasure to have them join us.  At the same time, it’s important to you as a visitor to someone's house or business, you feel comfortable in knowing what to expect, what is expected of you and if you are going to be welcomed.  The same thing goes for us HO track owners. We want some assurance that the person we invite into our home will feel welcome, not cause problems and get along with our friends and family that race with us.  This website should help you decide.
     We enjoy HO Drag Racing and want to see the hobby/sport grow.  This website was first published in September 2007 and we hope to keep adding quality information.  By putting as much information about all the different active HO Drag Strips and where they are in one place, we hope to make it easier for people to join in and enjoy HO Drag Racing.
